QSET is planning to compete in the Lunabotics competition in May 2012. It’s going to be an intense year for the people in the Lunabotics team. Below is the link to the competition rules. Lunabotics is a NASA mining competition with the goal to mine as much simulated lunar regolith as possible during two 10min rounds. Points are awarded for each kilogram mined, and points subtracted for each kilogram of robot mass. Extra points are awarded if the robot can mine autonomously or navigate through the obstacle course autonomously.
